Hello everyone !
If my new year’s resolution was to spend less money, then I can already forget about it ! I discovered this jumpsuit
through a friend (Big up, Marlène :p) and I have to say that I’ve kinda been obsessed about it ever since. So here am I, ordering this little baby in a bright red 😀 Can’t wait to receive it and pair it with a black blazer
and a nice clutch
That being said, my days have been relatively boring lately, and the weather is still super cold..which means : dry skin.. Oh how much I hate it ! But I got you covered : this body cream
will save you ! It’s super duper nourishing and smells heavenly good
because of the cherry blossoms and rice milk that’s in it !
I hope y’all have a nice weekend !
PS : There has been so many bad new lately..
I wished the world would be a more peaceful place.
My thoughts go to the victims of the « Charlie Hebdo » attack.
Hello everyone !
First, I apologize for having neglected you, wordpress world.. I was crazy busy with studying and then I went back home for 3 days, for Christmas, and right after that my Mister Perfect came to visit me for a week ! It’s been busy but it’s been great ! And that’s why I didn’t get much time to write here, I’m sorry !
That being said, I hope you all had great holidays, a great time with your family or loved ones for Christmas, and a happy new year !!
So while my Mister Perfect was in Budapest, once the mandatory visit to the Castle and to the baths was done, we kind of run out of ideas (so we went to Vienna, but that’s another story !). But there was one place that caught our eyes (or I should say, our stomachs) and it’s a japanese restaurant called TOKIO ! It’s a bit pricier than the normal hungarian restaurant you can find here, let’s be honest. But it’s by far the best japanese I’ve ever had here ! So if you ever come to Budapest, do me a favor and try this place out, and you HAVE to try the « Tokio Cheese Rolls » ! 😉
And that brings us to my next point : my new year resolutions ! Eat clean. It’s hard, sometimes, but I realized it’s so much better in every way : clear skin, healthy body (and mind) but most of all, self-confidence ! At least for me. I know people that are a bit chubbier and super self-confident, and that’s great, that’s how everyone should be : confident in their own body. But I know it’s not my case, I just can’t act like that.
But you know what ?! I believe we all can achieve what we want ! So stay strong and stay focused on your goal 🙂
How did you spend your holidays ? And did you take any resolutions ?
Being sick for the past few days, I didn’t get to do anything too exciting, but I hope everyone who celebrated Thanksgiving had a good one !
Yesterday I got the surprise to receive a little parcel from my Mum and that made my day a lot better ! One thing I miss from Paris (among others) is the food ! So imagine how excited I was when I saw that she sneaked in my Starbucks tumblr, two pieces of chocolate coated chestnut cream ! It has to be one of the yummiest things I’ve ever had!
Another tradition of ours is that since I was I kid, I’ve always had an Advent calendar in December. It used to be a big sock filled with chocolates and for the past few years it’s just been a card with little pictures for each day. Even tho I’ve been living in another country for the last 4 years, she always managed to send me one, and so did she this year too !
Do you have any traditions for December before Christmas ?! 🙂
What I was dreading the most happened : I managed to get sick already, and that’s possibly the worst timing for it. Oh well at least I now have a good reason to stay in bed and pamper myself right ? First on the list is : make tea, heaps of tea, to stay hydrated. (I’ve been loving Kusmi teas lately)
Number 2 is facial masks : I’ve got a bunch of sheet masks from Korea. Besides from supplying moisture to your skin, they have this cooling effect which is perfect for times like now, when your head hurts, your sinuses feel blocked and you overall feel like ‘Rudolf the red nosed deer’.
Also I’ve been craving for pho since I woke up, I mean, what’s better comfort food than hot soup with noodle and meat ?! (I wonder if they have pho delivery here ^^) And to top everything, I’ve ordered two lipsticks from that new MAC collaboration I wrote about, a few posts ago. And that makes me happy !
One thing I don’t like about living in Hungary is that you barely get anything interesting when it comes to fashion/beauty products. Let’s face it, a lot of the brands are american and for the few you actually get here, they’re a lot more expensive. And forget about special collections, you’ll never get to see them in Budapest. So with the help of this lovely and pretty lady and my Mister Perfect, I got one shipped to the US and one to Australia ^^ (talk about being international, uh !) Now I can’t wait to receive everything 🙂
That being said, I wish you a nice day !
Bundle up and be careful to not catch a cold like me 🙂
I’ve discovered this recipe a while ago on Cassie’s blog, but I thought I’d share it with you ! It makes a wonderful breakfast or healthy snack, and it’s super easy to make.
You’ll need :
– 1/4 cup oatmeal
– 1/2 apple (chopped, I personally grate it)
– 1 whole egg
– 3 or 4 egg whites
– 1 scoop (=30gr) vanilla protein powder (I used my chocolate-hazelnut whey protein powder
– a bit of cinnamon
You’ll then just need to mix everything, pour some of it in a fry pan on medium heat and cook it on both sides until it gets slightly brown.
And it has just 342 calories, 39gr of proteins, 28gr of carbs and 7gr of fats.
Enjoy your meal 🙂 & Let me know how it turned out !
Now if you don’t mind, I’ll get back to my pancakes.
During my last trip to Australia, I got the chance to work with Madeleine & Jess, two adorable and talented photographers ! The girls managed to find a pretty lake in the middle of Melbourne and although it was super cold and windy that day, I have to say, it has to be one of my favorite shoots !

Good morning !
Today’s a rainy day, so what’s better than starting it with breakfast in bed ?!
I’m off to my student duties : some studying and then gym ! I’ll hopefully get time to do some (overdue) shopping so stay tuned for my little haul 🙂
Morning tip :
Start your day with a big glass of water : it cleans your body from the toxines that have accumulated during the night and it gets your metabolism started 🙂
